E-bike rider taken to hospital after crash with vehicle in Broomfield

An electric bike rider was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after a crash with a vehicle near Broomfield High School.

At about 3:01 p.m., Broomfield police responded to a crash at East 10th Avenue and Main Street, according to Broomfield police spokesperson Rachel Haslett.

The bike rider was taken to a hospital with a possible broken leg, Haslett said. The rider was not a Broomfield High School student, according to Haslett.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
