STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual wanted for questioning in connection with a grand larceny incident that occurred last month in Rossville.

It was reported to police that on Friday, Sept. 19, at approximately 7:50 p.m., an unidentified individual entered a business located at 655 Rossville Ave. and allegedly removed multiple items from the shelves.

Woodrow Plaza Mall is located at the address provided by police.

The individual then fled in a white SUV in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.

The sought individual is described as male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, orange polo and black jeans.

The sought vehicle is described as a white SUV with tinted windows.
