Police arrested a 16-year-old girl on Wednesday after she allegedly threatened a staff member of a department store in Woden with a knife.
Officers found two bags in her possession with numerous stolen items and a knife matching the description of the one used to threaten staff.
According to ACT Policing, about 4.15pm on October 15, 2025, police attended the department store in Woden after receiving reports that a female was threatening a staff member with a knife.
A short time later, the officers located the teenage girl in a nearby car park and placed her under arrest. She became aggressive, allegedly spitting in the face of an officer and making verbal threats, police said.
