The third model from growing Chinese electric-car brand Zeekr is now rolling out to customers in Australia, after strong early interest.

Customer deliveries of the 2026 Zeekr 7X electric SUV are now underway in Australia, after more than 2500 pre-orders were collected before many buyers had taken a test drive.

A rival to the mid-size Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7, the 7X is only the third model in Australia from Zeekr, which is owned by Chinese Volvo parent company Geely.

The first 100 customers designated to collect their cars took part in a “delivery ceremony” at the Sydney Motorsport Park race circuit on Wednesday, after the commencement of test drives on Monday, 6 October.

All of the initial deliveries appear to be to customers based in New South Wales. Other states are expected
