KANSAS CITY. Mo. - After over an entire calendar year, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will finally be back on the field.

Rice hasn't played since Week 4 of the 2024 regular season after suffering a knee injury and being dealt a six-game suspension for his role in a six-vehicle crash in Dallas, Texas.

He returned to practice on Wednesday and will make his season debut against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The team did not hold back their excitement for his return.

"He's going to want to be out there every single play. That's just the mentality that he has," Patrick Mahomes said.

"I think it's going to be our job as teammates and coaches to kind of build him back the right way, but it's going to be hard to keep him off the field, for sure."
