BURLINGTON, N.C. — Francis Marion University sophomore Leander Neuhaus carded a final-round even-par 71 score on Tuesday to complete a record-setting performance as the Patriots finished 15th at the Phoenix Invitational Men’s Golf Tournament.

The 54-hole event was played on the 6,871-yard, par-71 Alamance Country Club.
Francis Marion will play the final event of its 2025 fall schedule on Saturday and Sunday at the 55th-annual Furman Intercollegiate presented by Ezelle/Hines Properties.
Neuhaus combined his Tuesday score with rounds of 67 and 68 on Monday to finish the tournament at 206, the lowest 54-hole total in program history – bettering a pair of 208 scores by Xavier Schwarz and Lars Sandvoll. Neuhaus, who finished the tournament with 16 birdies, tied for seventh in
