I’ve been a Tom Rush fan for more than 60 years, since way back when he was a student at Harvard and I was at Tufts.

I used to go see him perform at Club 47 a few blocks from his dorm. I’ve been writing about him for almost that long, and I’ve interviewed him so many times that our sessions have become conversations that can hardly be considered interviews in the strictest sense of the word.
