Buffalo police said they’ve arrested a man suspected of burglarizing grocery stores and pizza restaurants in September.
Richard Bowden, 62, of Buffalo, has been charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and petit larceny.
Bowden allegedly started his burglary spree the evening of Sept. 15 when he broke into the Pali Supermarket on Bailey Avenue and stole two cash registers, two receipt printers, and approximately $5,000 in cash.
The spree continued for several more nights, police said. Bowden is accused of breaking into Gino and Joe's NY Pizza, Buffalo Fresh, and two Domino's restaurants, stealing cash registers and cash from all of them.
