As Rishab Shetty's latest offering, 'Kantara: Chapter 1', completed two weeks in theatres, it has now become the highest-grossing film in Karnataka. The film, despite witnessing a gradual decline in numbers during the second weekend, is now inching towards Rs 200 crore (gross) in the state.

According to tracking website, Sacnilk , the prequel has been holding steady at the box office after seeing a dip in collections during the weekdays. On its 14th day in theatres, the film earned Rs 10.55 crore nett (gross minus taxes) in India. While this is a 25 per cent drop in collections, it is still earning in double digits.

The 14-day total collection of 'Kantara: Chapter 1' is now Rs 476.45 crore nett in India , and is expected to step into the Rs 500-crore club in the country soon.
