MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - If you are flying during the government shutdown, you might see airports playing a video of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

But that will not be that case at the Dane County Regional Airport. WMTV reached out to a spokesperson for the airport who said the video is not playing on any of their digital screens.

“The digital screens throughout the terminal are part of the airport’s paid advertising program. They’re not available for use by airport tenants unless they purchase advertising space, which is then subject to our advertising guidelines and policy.”

The spokesperson said the TSA is a tenant of the airport and they can display messages in their own leased space.
