MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - Our team was camped outside an information session for data centers in Mishawaka led by secretary of energy and natural resources for the state Suzanne Jaworowski on Wednesday night.
The session, which cost $15 to attend, gave the public a chance to ask questions about data centers while also providing information about a-i and energy right from the governor’s office.
The nonprofit hosting the event, ‘Indiana Call to Action’, told us the speaker did not want any press inside.
We spoke with several residents and council members outside the conference center, who simply came to learn more.
One St. Joseph County resident told us after the meeting while he found the speaker interesting, he still he feels this data center would not benefit this community.
