The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has started to deteriorate with the approaching winters. Delhi’s air quality has sharply dropped ahead of Diwali, with the AQI rising above 200 on Tuesday, October 14. This marked the first significant decline in air quality since June, 2025. In response, GRAP-1 (Graded Response Action Plan) restrictions have been implemented to help curb pollution and protect public health during this period.
