A driver has reached a tentative settlement in his negligence suit against “Succession” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” actor Alan Ruck, in which the plaintiff alleged he was severely injured in a 2023 collision.

Attorneys for Horacio Vela filed court papers on Monday with Santa Monica Superior Court Judge Susan Bryant-Deason notifying her of a “conditional” resolution in the case with the expectation a request for dismissal will be brought by Feb. 6. No terms were revealed.

“The matter has been resolved through a mutually agreed settlement,” said one of Vela’s attorneys, Houman Sayaghi, in a statement Wednesday. “We appreciate Mr. Ruck’s cooperation. We are pleased that our client received the justice he deserved and can put this behind him.”
