South Pitt Gives New Meaning to Football Phrase “A Good Offense is a Good Defense”

South Pittsburg took the football phrase, a good offense is a good defense, to a whole new level last Friday against Lookout Valley.

The Pirates scored three defensive touchdowns.

On three consecutive possessions.

South Pitt coach Wes Stone wasn’t sure what he was seeing out there.

Said Stone:”I joked with my defensive coordinator to stop scoring, so our offense could get some reps.”
