MICHIGAN, USA — The ‘No Kings’ movement began with a nationwide protest back in June where demonstrators spoke out against the administration of President Donald Trump.
Nationwide protests are planned again for this weekend, including in Muskegon.
“I have a daughter whose special needs, and I'm glad that she's 37 now and not so that she's already gone through school, because if it goes as it's going right now, they're threatening to take away the education that she had and that she grew up with and that she thrived on, that has made her an independent person,” said Barbra Kolen with Indivisible on the Lakeshore.
Several demonstrations throughout the day are also planned in Grand Rapids.
