KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – It may still be October, but it’s never too early to get into the winter mood.

And Kanawha County Parks and Recreation is already getting into the Christmas spirit.

At Wednesday’s meeting, they decided to make Dec. 4 the official day for the tree lighting at Coonskin Park.

It’s all part of the commission’s annual “Christmas at Coonskin” celebration, which features photos with Santa, train rides, and hot chocolate.
