NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) - The Navasota Rattlers picked up their first district win over Needville 42-35 on Friday night at Rattler Stadium. Here is a rapid reaction:

Why did Navasota win? After the Bluejays tied the game late in the third quarter, the Rattlers defense was able to hold the Needville from scoring through the fourth to pull out the win.

Standout performance: With less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, running back, Kyn’Navion Chappel came up with a big run to score the game-winning touchdown.

What’s next? Navasota goes on the road to Stafford on Oct. 17th at 7:00 p.m.
