Grand Teton National Park is once again mourning the loss of one of its most famous wild residents. A year after the heartbreaking loss of the "Queen of the Tetons," grizzly bear 399, in a vehicle collision in October 2024 , another fan favorite has suffered the same fate.

The famous bull moose known as "Elk Antler" was one of four moose killed in car accidents over the last month in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming . The park is currently in its "shoulder season," generally a time with lower visitation as the weather cools and school comes back in session.
