A sovereign citizen has accused his former psychologist of causing him mental harm and a magistrate of being biased in granting a restraining order against him.

Daniel Victor Gandini, who refers to himself as "Diplomat Dan" , made his latest court appearance on Wednesday, October 15, in relation to a civil matter between him and his former psychologist , Michael Marriott.

Dan was sentenced to more than three years' jail in 2024 for assaulting his then-partner in 2021 and throwing acid at four police officers who were going to arrest him.

Mr Marriott gave evidence during Dan's criminal trial regarding his patient's mental state, and in a 2021 report to Dan's general practitioner, Mr Marriott said he believed his patient suffered from a delusional disorder.
