Rs 12 Lakh Worth of Blood Plasma Recovered

Bhopal: Bagsewania police have cracked a major case involving the theft of life-saving blood plasma from the AIIMS Bhopal Blood Bank. The heist, which involved 1150 units of FFP (Fresh Frozen Plasma) packets valued at approximately Rs 12 lakh, was orchestrated by an outsourced employee and a network of accomplices.

Insider Plot and Nationwide Network

The investigation began on September 29, 2025, after the theft was reported by AIIMS security. Police arrested Ankit Kelkar, an outsourced employee at the AIIMS blood bank, who had leveraged his access to plot the crime before his contract ended. Kelkar conspired with former associates Amit Jatav and Lucky Pathak.
