New police station nearly complete in Batavia

BATAVIA — Construction of the new, $15 million police station at Alva Place and Bank Street is about 95% complete.

“You’re going to see signage go up next week on the outside of the building,” Police Chief Shawn Heubusch said during Tuesday’s City Council business meeting. “We’re moving right along. We’ve run into a couple of hiccups here and there, but nothing major.”
