Elk Grove police have arrested Laguna Creek High School teacher David Collins, 38, after an investigation into an alleged sexual relationship with an underage student between 2015 and 2018. Authorities say the case came to light when former students reported the allegations to the Elk Grove Unified School District, which then contacted police. Collins was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held without bail. District officials confirmed that the student involved is no longer enrolled and that Collins has not been on campus this school year.
