Fundraiser planned Oct. 25 to establish scholarship in memory of Mike ‘Bondo’ Bond

IRON MOUNTAIN — A fundraiser has been planned for the Mike “Bondo” Bond Scholarship from noon to 3 on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Sol Blu in Iron Mountain.

There will be silent auctions, 50-50s, raffles and food.

Money raised will go to establish a scholarship in memory of the 1990 Iron Mountain High School graduate, who passed away Aug. 12, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

They will award a scholarship each year to an IMHS graduate.

Those who would like to donate to Bondo’s Scholarship can make checks to “The Mike ‘Bondo’ Memorial Scholarship” and mailed to Scholarship Administrator, IMHS, 300 W. B St., Iron Mountain, MI 49801.
