COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State freshmen Epi Sitanilei and Isaiah West have lost their black stripes, the football team announced via social media Wednesday.

West joined Bo Jackson as the lone freshmen running backs to have their black stripes removed this year. He has appeared in three games for the Buckeyes, collecting 49 rushing yards and a touchdown.

West is a product of St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia. He was a three-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
