The last time Missouri football lost two games in a row was in November 2022.

This week, that streak is going under the strain of Jordan-Hare Stadium at night.

No. 16-ranked Mizzou travels to play Auburn on Saturday in Auburn, Alabama, for a game that now falls under the must-win umbrella if MU is going to reach the College Football Playoff.

Missouri (5-1, 1-1 SEC) suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday, dropping a home contest, 27-24, against Alabama. The one-score loss didn’t end MU’s dreams of a playoff berth, but Mizzou’s margin for error on the road just got significantly smaller.
