Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 16 (Maxim News): The Supreme Court has refused to entertain the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by the Telangana government on the issue of BC reservations in local body elections. The apex court made it clear that the matter cannot be entertained as it is pending in the High Court . It has directed the High Court to proceed with the further inquiry irrespective of its orders and to inquire into the merits. It has said that if desired, local elections can be held on the basis of the old reservations.
