PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football’s defense entered the halfway point of the season searching for ways to fix a defense that’s been far too inconsistent and ineffective through the first six games.

The Scarlet Knights better find as many of those answers as possible becomes here comes the toughest test they’ve faced so far.

Rutgers will host No. 8 Oregon on Saturday, Oct. 10 (6:30 p.m., Big Ten Network) looking to pull off an upset and snap a three-game losing streak, which would be quite the celebration on Homecoming Weekend.
