Last in Manchester in 2016, the multi-Olivier Award-winning jukebox musical Sunny Afternoon is back and kicking off its brand new UK tour in the city.

Written by the band's frontman Ray Davies, it tells the warts and all story of the 60s musical sensation and their rocky rise to fame in a time of social and political upheaval.

There's Ray, the songwriting genius of the group, and his wayward, womanising brother Dave, aka Dave the Rave, responsible for pretty much all of the band's in-fighting.
