Iredell County Department of Social Services employees came together with a common goal: Support organizations within the community. On June 25, a donation-drive event was held to collect hygiene products that were donated to Fifth Street Ministries. The collection goal was to help extend opportunities that support the community partners that Social Services works with on a regular basis. From providing information, to referrals, to direct support and partnership opportunities, Social Services works side-by-side with a variety of outreach partners, programs and networks of support within the community and surrounding regions. The department hopes to continue to provide collaborative efforts within the community by becoming a mutual partner in community support.
