DC gears up to curb stubble burning with strict monitoring in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, October 16, 2025: The district civil and police administration has intensified efforts to bring stubble burning incidents to a zero level. Deputy Commissioner Deepshikha Sharma and SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, while chairing a meeting with SDMs, DSPs, and officers from related departments, directed strict monitoring in hotspot villages and urged close coordination among officials. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Dr. Nidhi Kumud Bambah was also present.
