Not content to stay in the more pedestrian ketchup- or vinegar-flavoured lane, Miss Vickie’s clearly has some lofty aspirations for its famed kettle-cooked potato chips in seeking to pay homage to Canada’s haute-cuisine scene.
To that end, Miss Vickie’s has emerged with its Ristoranti Series, partnering with three of the country’s more acclaimed Italian restaurants: Vancouver’s Ask for Luigi, Toronto’s Pizzeria Badiali and the 14-year-old Nora Gray, which is regularly featured on the annual Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list .
