Pop icon Britney Spears has clapped back at her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s bombshell new memoir in which he expressed urgent concern for the singer and also feared for their two sons, reports People magazine.

A representative for Spears, 43, spoke out in a statement ahead of the release of the memoir. The representative told People, “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir (The Woman in Me).”
