Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to enhance road safety and deter habitual traffic violators, the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate has initiated a strict crackdown, targeting vehicle owners who consistently flout rules and ignore penalties.

Authorities have announced that the first phase of this drive has identified 258 such persistent offenders.

Following this, the Commissionerate Police formally requested the State Transport Authority (STA) in Cuttack to cancel the Registration Certificates (RCs) and Fitness Certificates of the identified vehicles.
