We’re in the home stretch.
More than a quarter of a million people from across Alberta have already signed the Forever Canadian petition and, by Oct. 28, we’re determined to reach or exceed the goal of 300,000 signatures.
Our question is clear: Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada? Albertans are responding to send a clear message: Alberta’s future lies in Canada, and we are proud Canadians.
Why does this petition matter? And why are so many Albertans lining up to sign?
What I’ve consistently heard from Albertans is this is about sending a clear message — a positive message of hope. Talk of separation is not new to Alberta but, this time, there’s a group of people who are serious about following through. These are more than idle threats.
