Lately, my home security cameras have been far more active than usual — but not for the reasons you might expect. No burglars or packages gone missing… just some incredibly curious creatures.

It all started with a cat. Not mine — just a neighborhood feline who has decided that my yard is part of its late-night patrol route. Nearly every night around 2 or 3 AM, one of my outdoor cameras goes off, waking me up with a motion alert. At first I was annoyed (because, sleep!), but when I checked the footage, there it was: a little cat confidently strutting across my yard like it owned the place. I have to admit — it’s kind of grown on me.
