Windber's Sophia Weyant paces area runners in Inter

MEYERSDALE, Pa. – Windber Area freshman Sophia Weyant placed second in the girls race of Wednesday’s Inter-County Conference cross country championship at Meyersdale Area High School.

Weyant, who placed behind Williamsburg’s Ava Dixon, helped the Ramblers take second in the team competition behind Dixon’s Blue Pirates, who tallied 32 points to squeeze out the title. ×
