The public is invited to watch as four visiting Navy and Coast Guard vessels -- which were in the area for the recent Navy & Marine Corps 250th Celebration -- are set to head back down the Delaware River to return to their home ports on Thursday.

Officials said the departure of the ships will be staggered, starting with the USS Lassen set to depart from the Gloucester Marine Terminal in Gloucester City, New Jersey at 9 a.m.

After that, the USS Arlington will depart from Pier 4 and the Philadelphia Navy Yard in South Philly at about 10:20 a.m.

The USS Billings will depart from the Camden Waterfront, next to the Battleship New Jersey in Camden, NJ, at 11 a.m., officials said.
