India on Thursday said it was not aware of any telephone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal was responding to a question of whether there was a conversation or a telephone call between PM Modi and President Trump.

Trump said on Wednesday that Modi \"assured me today\" that India will not be buying oil from Russia.
