Things have been real busy in our neck of the woods for the last few weeks . That had a coworker asking about people’s favorite happy hour.

I thought it would be a good idea to throw the question out to a wider audience. So we’re asking all of you to tell us where to find the best happy hour in the Portland area for The Oregonian/OregonLive’s Readers Choice Awards .

Another coworker had great things to say about Metropolitan Tavern ’s happy hour. (Those Kobe beef sliders are looking very tasty.) And dining critic Michael Russell recently said Campana was “the best place to get pasta in the city, especially during the surprisingly affordable happy hour.” He also clued us into Jacqeline ’s oyster happy hour.
