ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The annual open enrollment window for Medicare just opened. This is the federal insurance program for those 65 or older or some younger people with disabilities.
It's the time of year when everyone who's eligible can make changes to their plans. You have some time before the December 7 deadline, but we spoke with Dave Kirst, insurance manager for AAA, who encourages everyone to take care of everything now.
