BHOPAL: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Bhopal Division has confiscated highly flammable materials, including firecrackers worth over ₹1 lakh and two domestic gas cylinders, during an intensive four-day safety drive. The action comes as part of a directive from senior railway officials to prevent fire accidents, which pose a severe risk to life and property during the Diwali season.

Railway authorities strongly warned passengers against carrying prohibited flammable goods such as firecrackers, petroleum products, gas cylinders, kerosene, and matchboxes. A single spark from these items can lead to a massive disaster.
