Jim Carrey is in talks to star in an upcoming live-action feature film version of the popular animated show, 'The Jetsons'.

About 'The Jetsons', the film

Early reports confirm Colin Trevorrow will direct the upcoming film, which is being pitched as a comedy. Trevorrow has in the past made his mark calling the shots on the 'Jurassic' franchise blockbusters such as 'Jurassic World' (2015), 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' (2018) and 'Jurassic World Dominion' (2022), besides the Naomi-Watts-starrer thriller, 'The Book of Henry' (2017). Trevorrow will also co-script the film with Joe Esptein.

While Warner Bros. Pictures will produce the film, no official details have yet been officially shared about the film's commencement of shooting or release date.
