Noor Kestou of Commerce Township owned and operated the former Goo Smoke Shop/Select Distributors in Clinton Township, which exploded in 2024.

Kestou was charged with involuntary manslaughter after Turner Salter, 19, a bystander, died after he was hit in the head with a projectile about a quarter-mile from the business.

A judge ruled Oct. 16, months after the preliminary exam began in the case.
