A suspect has been arrested and charged with kidnapping in the disappearance of Kada Scott, a Philadelphia woman who remains missing.
Keon King, 21, was taken into custody on Oct. 14 in connection with Scott's disappearance and has been charged with kidnapping and reckless endangerment, Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski said at a news conference on Oct. 15.
However, officials are still searching for Scott, 23, who was last seen on Oct. 5, leaving her job at a nursing home.
Police said they believe King and Scott were in communication before she disappeared. Officials previously said Scott told family members prior to her disappearance that someone was harassing her via phone, though Toczylowski declined to comment on whether King was the individual.
