West Lothian Council listed a handful of illustrations on how it could curb spending as it launched its Budget Consultation.
The local authority is asking residents, staff and partners to share their views on how the council should respond to the nationwide financial challenges.
The month-long consultation will run from Thursday, October 16 to Sunday, November 16, and asks people to consider a range of budget savings and income-generation options – to help bridge a £23 million budget gap over the next two years.
