Republican Congressman Dave Taylor (R-Ohio) reported to the U.S. Capitol Police that an American flag was altered with a swastika in his office.

Politico obtained images of the flag which was found in Taylor’s office in the Cannon Building in Washington, D.C.

The flag was pinned on one of the cubicles in his office and had altered red and white lines in the shape of a swastika with pinned images, a pocket Constitution, and a congressional calendar.

Taylor said in a statement released by his office on Oct. 15 that he directed a thorough investigation along with the U.S. Capitol Police.
