Orlando Health South Lake Hospital recently recognized Marissa Green, RN , with the prestigious DAISY Award , an honor that celebrates extraordinary nurses who provide exceptional and compassionate care to their patients.

The DAISY Award acknowledges nurses who demonstrate six key qualities: passion for nursing and the care they provide, empathy, teamwork and trust with patients, families, and peers, admirable personal attributes, love for patients and the nursing profession, and selflessness.

Green, an acute care nurse in the hospital’s cardiac intervention unit, was selected for exemplifying these values through her dedication to patient-centered care and her positive impact on both colleagues and patients.
