DC flags off poshan rally, inspects nutrition stalls

REASI, OCTOBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik on Thursday chaired the grand valedictory ceremony of the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025, which was observed from September 17 to October 16 to promote nutrition awareness, community participation and behavioural change.

During the month-long campaign, a total of 26,523 activities were conducted across the district, engaging over 3.11 lakh individuals. The activities included healthy recipe competitions, identification of SAM/MAM children, awareness sessions on healthy lifestyles, recipe demonstrations featuring low-fat, low-sugar meals and yoga activities.
