Oak Bay Police are on the lookout for a man who’s allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident.

Police say they were called to a report of a disturbance at a couple’s residence in the early hours of Oct. 10.

When they arrived, officers found a woman with “visible injuries, including a swollen and bleeding lip,” according to Oak Bay Police.

“The accused, 37-year-old Antony Abreu Ramirez, had fled the scene prior to police arrival and is currently wanted on one count of Assault under Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada,” said OBPD in a release on Thursday.

Police say they continue to search for the suspect as of Thursday.
