JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it arrested three women after an incident outside of an IDEA charter school, where a traffic violation led to a physical altercation between a Florida mother and officer on Oct 7.

The mother, Erika McGriff, was arrested on suspicion of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license.

McGriff parked her car in an intersection and left it running and unattended while she picked up her 9-year-old daughter from school, JSO said.
